Mrs. Jennie Stout died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Servies west of here yesterday about noon. She was 53 years of age, most of her life had been spent in this county. The deceased woman is the wife of Valentine Stout of this city. Mrs. Stout has been very ill for some time and lately has had a severe paralytic stroke. Her condition was regarded as extremely serious several days before her death. She is survived by her mother, her husband, one son, Floyd; one daughter, Mrs. Servies, two brothers and two sisters. She had been a member of the United Brethren Church for several years and was a great lover of Christian deeds and kindly acts. The funeral arrangements have no been made because of the coming of John Servies son-in-law of the deceased who is expected to arrive today. In all probability the funeral will be held Thursday afternoon.
